About:

The idea for this webinar started when I’m coming across more and more cases of people who have lost money “DIY-ing” their investments during my financial planning work. They are frustrated and worried about what to do with the investments that are sitting on losses of 30%, 40% or even more than 50%.

The common thing I’ve observed is that the investors will keep looking at the numbers and the more they look, the more depressed they get until they decided to not look at it anymore. However, not looking at their portfolio does not remove the worry, frustration and perhaps, even guilt that they should “not have been so greedy”.

It’s a movie I’ve seen before having been a financial planner for more than 20 years and having experienced 3 major financial crisis – Sept 11, Lehman Brothers and Covid.

If you are worried and frustrated about the losses in your investment portfolio and would like to take a step back to revisit and review your decisions using a financial planning approach and refreshing the basics of investing, this webinar will be of immense value.

The topics covered are anchored in practicality and is designed to help you clear the investing cobwebs in your mind and leave you with a greater sense of clarity, calm and confidence.

This webinar will cover these 10 topics:

“The idea for this webinar started when I’m coming across more and more cases of people who have lost money “DIY-ing” their investments during my financial planning work. It’s a movie I’ve seen before having been a financial planner for more than 20 years and having experienced 3 major financial crisis – Sept 11, Lehman Brothers and Covid.

While I do not have a magic potion to immediately repair any badly damaged portfolios, I’ve found that taking a financial planning approach and refreshing the basics of investing can quickly bring back a sense of calm, clarity and hopefully, confidence.

This webinar is 20 years in the making and I’ll share with you my best notes, knowledge, wisdom and learnings – not just as a market observer or investor but also as a financial planner who went through many unforgiving downturns over the past 20 years with clients.

Join me if you would like to revisit the topic of investing and I promise that no charts, graphs, lines,  patterns, percentages or numbers (expect to number the presentation points) will be shown.

Oh yes…and bring your toughest questions! I may not be able to answer all of them but I certainly will like to listen to them all!”
