Something About Me…

I joined the industry as a fresh graduate back in 2006. Although I hold a Bachelor’s in Materials Engineering, I always share that I have “burnt my bridges with Engineering” ever since.

‘Loving what you do’ is the motto that I live by. As much as people saying that this career is challenging, I believe it is through such challenges that we learn and grow.

Knowing that my clients have entrusted me with their planning is what makes me strive for constant improvement and growth.

I Specialize In…

Safeguarding the education planning for families with children of all ages. It is often a dilemma in parents which should take priority in planning; their own retirement or their child(ren)’s education planning.

My philosophy in planning is ‘No one should be left behind’. With proper planning and positioning, both parents and their child(ren)’s needs can be met.

Being a mother of 2 children, it has provided me several opportunities to identify some of the blind spots that parents unknowingly overlooked and thus allow me to plan holistically for such families.

What I Like Most About Being A Financial Planner Is…

Everyday is a new learning day with financial planning as a career. New friendships are created and existing one are strengthened.

The best part – being able to pass on that cheque to families in times of the most crucial period.

If I Can Only Give One Piece Of Financial Advice, It Is…

No one plans to fail, they only fail to plan. Have a trusted advisor that you know who will best represent you and your family’s interest

My Most Treasured Memory At Work…

When I was in the midst of coming over to PIAS from my previous company, I had a client telling me, “Pam no matter where you go, as long as you are in the industry, (he sang) I will follow you”.

It was funny but yet at the same time very heart-warming for it gave me assurance that I was doing a great job!
