CONNECT WITH ME ON:

SOMETHING ABOUT ME…

I started my career as a Management Associate in a large insurance company right after graduating, where I gained a good insight of the Insurance Business.

During my stint as a corporate staff, I saw for myself the spirit behind the insurance business – To provide for people when they need it the most. With that motivation, I entered the Financial Advisory business and has never looked back.

With my strong background in the financial services industry, I bring with me technical competency as well as strategic acumen to help my clients prepare for their future with more certainty. Despite being accounting-trained, I believe that financial planning is never just about numbers, but a set of values.

I SPECIALIZE IN…

Risk Management and Retirement Income Planning for people before retirement age.

I work primarily with the sandwich generation, who are typically in their thirties and forties, and are financially responsible for both their children and their ageing parents.

I am most passionate about working with this group of clients as they are the people whom financial planning will have the most impact in their lives.

WHAT I LIKE MOST ABOUT BEING A FINANCIAL PLANNER IS…

Acting as both the first and last line of defense to my clients.

I am my clients’ first line of defense when I take on an advisory role to their financial matters in their good times. When the dreaded inevitable happens (be it falling seriously sick or demise), I become my clients’ (or their families for the matter) last line of defense – as whether they have the financial means to tide them through that critical period depends on the planning I have done up for them.

Being in a position that allows me to be there during my clients’ best and worst times is what keeps me going in my job.

IF I CAN ONLY GIVE ONE PIECE OF FINANCIAL ADVISE, IT IS

It is never too early to plan early. I can never emphasize this enough, be it to my young clients in their twenties or pre-retirees in their fifties.

What many do not appreciate is that: You need time to let the effect of compounding do its magic for wealth accumulation; sickness do not discriminate based on age; and that money itself doesn’t buy you insurance and you also need good health to buy insurance.
